Aero Dili’s A319 Starts Revenue Flights

Aero Dili has quickly put its first A319-100 and second only aircraft into revenue service and it is now working all four Aero Dili routes to Oecusse (OEC), Denpasar (DPS), Singapore (SIN), and Xiamen (XMN).

AeroSouthPacific reported on the A319-100 leaving the paint shop at Bandung (BDO) last month, after which it ferried to Jakarta (CGK) and onto Dili (DIL). It operated its first passenger services on March 24, on Timor Leste’s only domestic route – Dili to Oecusse before operating a roundtrip to Denpasar.

The aircraft, registered as 4W-AAO (msn 02825), started service proper on April 1 and has flown most days since.

It is currently covering for Aero Dili’s other aircraft, an A320-200 registered as 4W-AAL (msn 03672) that is undergoing scheduled maintenance at the FL Technics Indonesia in Denpasar.
