MAY 28, 2025: The Australian Federation of Air Pilots (AFAP) has appealed against the finding from the Fair Work Commission that first officers under training, as defined in the Qantas Airways Limited Pilots (Short Haul) Enterprise Agreement 2024 (EA9), are not covered by the Air Pilots Award 2020.
