Aircraft movements in July 2026
JULY 6, 2026: Qantas has positioned an E190-100 into Norwich Airport (NWI) ahead of its ferry flight to Australia. The aircraft, VH-E9B (msn 190.0027) will be operated by Qantas subsidiary Network Aviation under the QantasLink brand
JULY 2, 2026: Australian Corporate Jet Centre has begun ferrying its second E190-E2 to Melbourne Essendon (MEB). The aircraft, VH-IGJ (msn 19020183) departed Sao Jose dos Campos (SJK) on July 1 (local time) and at the time of writing, is enroute to Bridgetown (BGI).

Aircraft movements in June 2026
JUNE 30, 2026: Alliance Airlines has disposed of another F100. The aircraft, VH-UQA (msn 11499), ferried out of Brisbane (BNE) for Johor Bahru (JNB) via Darwin (DRW) over June 28 – 29, 2026, but was diverted to Singapore Selator (XSP). Alliance ceased operating VH-UQA in early March 2026.
JUNE 19, 2026: PNG Air is presently ferrying its third ATR42-600 to Port Moresby (POM). The aircraft, P2-ATS (msn 1217) departed Toulouse (QYF) on June 16 for Malta (MLA) and at the time of publication, is in Jaipur (JAI).
JUNE 19, 2026: Virgin Australia is preparing to ferry its twentieth B737-8 to Australia. The aircraft, VH-8VF (msn 67037), is due to depart Melbourne (MLB) for Brisbane (BNE) on June 19. The aircraft typically ferry via Ontario (ONT) and Kona (KOA).
JUNE 15, 2026: Australia Corporate Jet Centres advises it is about to take delivery of its second E190-E2. The aircraft, VH-IGJ (msn 19020165) is undergoing final pre-delivery work in São Paulo.
JUNE 12, 2026: Qantas is expected to ferry its seventh A321-200XLR to Australia over the weekend. At the time of publication, VH-OGG (msn 12853) remains at Toulouse (TLS) but it is due to depart on Friday morning (local time) for Brisbane (BNE) via Bengaluru (BLR).
JUNE 9, 2026: The Qantas Group is preparing to ferry in its first owned E190-E2. The aircraft, VH-E9A (msn 190.00250) is at Norwich (NWI) ahead of its delivery flight. The aircraft will be operated by Qantas owned subsidiary carrier, Network Aviation.
JUNE 8, 2026: National Jet Express has ferried in its thirteenth DHC-8-Q400. The aircraft, VH-8QE (msn 4205), flew into Perth (PER) from Zagreb (ZAG) via Duqm (DQM) and Gan Island (GAN) on June 5. It is leased from TrueNoord.
JUNE 4, 2026: Virgin Australia has ferried in its nineteenth B737-8. The aircraft, VH-8VD (msn 67040), arrived in Brisbane (BNE) on June 2, have flown in from Melbourne (MLB) via Ontario (ONT) and Kona (KOA).
JUNE 3, 2026: Virgin Australia has ferried in its eighteenth B737-8. The aircraft, VH-8VE (msn 67041), arrived in Brisbane (BNE) on May 30, have flown in from Melbourne (MLB) via Ontario (ONT) and Kona (KOA). It commenced revenue flights on June 3.
JUNE 1, 2026: Jetstar is ferrying in its twenty-fifth A321-200NX. The aircraft, VH-OLU (msn 13084) departed Toulouse (TLS) bound for Melbourne (MEL) on May 30. It is due to land in Australia today, June 1, after stops in via Istanbul (IST), Muscat (MCT) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL).

Aircraft movements in May 2026
MAY 29, 2026: The Qantas Group is ferrying in its twelfth A220-300. The aircraft, VH-X4L (msn 55447), left Montreal (YMX) on May 25 and is due into Canberra today, May 29, after flying via Vancouver (YVR), Honolulu (HNL), and Nadi (NAN). VH-X4L will be operated by Qantas subsidiary National Jet Systems in QantasLink livery.
MAY 29, 2026: Virgin Australia’s fourth E190-E2 is due to arrive in Perth (PER) on June 1 after departing Sao Jose dos Campos (SJK) on May 27. The aircraft, VH-E2D (msn 190.20221), will ferry in via Bridgetown (BGI), Miami–Opa Locka (OPF), Tuscon (TUS), Kona (KOA), and Brisbane (BNE). It will be operated by Virgin Australia Regional Airlines.
MAY 22, 2026: PNG Air is ferrying in its second ATR42-600. The aircraft, P2-ATT (msn 1804), departed Toulouse (QBF) on May 19 at the time of publication is in Jeddah (JED), enroute to Port Moresby (POM).
MAY 22, 2026: Virgin Australia is ferrying in its 17th B737-8. The aircraft, VH-8VI (msn 67039), left Melbourne (MLB) on May 20 and at the time of publication, is due to land in Brisbane (BNE) later on May 22. The jet flew via Ontario (ONT) and Kailua-Kona (KOA).
MAY 21, 2026: Alliance Airlines has disposed of an E190-100AR. The aircraft, VH-XVO (msn 19000119) was operating on a wet-lease basis for Qantas but between May 18 – 20 ferried from Brisbane (BNE) to Bratislava (BTS) via Darwin (DRW), Johor Bahru (JNB), Bengaluru (BLR), Muscat (MCT), Hurghada (HRG), and Maastricht (MST).
MAY 11, 2026: Virgin Australia has ferried in its sixteenth B737-8. The jet, VH-8VH (msn 67038) landed in Brisbane (BNE) on May 8 having flown in from Melbourne (MLB) via Ontario (ONT) and Kailua-Kona (KOA).
MAY 6, 2026: An Alliance Airlines F100 has departed Australia on a delivery flight to Kenya’s Skyward Airlines. The aircraft, VH-FSQ (msn 11450) left Perth (PER) on May 3 and at the of publication, had landed in Sofia (SOF) after travelling via Port Hedland (PHE), Johor Bahru (JHB), Bengaluru (BLR), Al Ain (AAN), and Hurghada (HRG).
MAY 5, 2026: PNG Air is ferrying in an ATR42-600. The aircraft, P2-ATU (msn 1804) is due to depart Toulouse (QYF) for Heraklion (HER) on May 5, enroute to Port Moresby. The delivery is one of many new ATR aircraft already at or heading to PNG Air as part of a fleet renewal programme.
MAY 4, 2026: Jetstar has returned an A320-200 to the lessor. The aircraft, VH-YXQ (msn 5618) ferried out of Melbourne (MEL) for Tainan (TNN) via Alice Springs (ASP) and Darwin (DRW) on over the week starting April 25. The lessor was SMBC.
MAY 1, 2026: Qantas is ferrying in its sixth A321-200XLR. VH-OGF (msn 12835) departed Hamburg (XFW) for Sydney (SYD) via Bengaluru (BLR) on April 30. It is due to land in Australia early on May 2.

Aircraft movements in April 2026
APRIL 27, 2026: Skytrans Australia jet ACMI fleet is down to a single A319-100 after VH-L7A (msn 01779) departed Australia for Croatia on April 24. The jet is going to Zagreb (ZAG) based Trade Air.
APRIL 27, 2026: Jetstar is taking delivery of its twenty fourth A321-200NX. The aircraft, VH-OSE (msn 13197) departed Toulouse (TLS) for Istanbul (IST) on April 24 and is due to arrive in Melbourne on April 27.
APRIL 27, 2026: Virgin Australia is returning a B737-800 to its lessor. VH-VUH (msn 34440) left Brisbane (BNE) bound for Marana (MZJ) on April 24. It is travelling via Nadi (NAN) and Honolulu (HNL). The aircraft was leased from Deucalion Aviation.
APRIL 17, 2026: Qantas is ferrying in its fifth A321-200XLR. The aircraft, VH-OGE (msn 12762) departed Hamburg (XFW) bound for Sydney (SYD) on April 16 and, at the time of publication, is at Bengaluru (BLR).
APRIL 13, 2026: Air Moana is ferrying in its fourth ATR72-600. The leased aircraft, F-OREV (msn 1553) departed Toulouse (QYF) on April 11, local time, for Papeete (PPT) and, at the time of publication is at Almaty (ALA)
APRIL 3, 2026: Virgin Australia’s third E190-E2 is ferrying to Australia over the Easter weekend. The aircraft, VH-E2C (msn 19020209), departed the Embrarer facility at Sao Jose dos Campos Airport (SJK) on April 1 and is expected to arrive in Perth (PER) on April 6. The aircraft will be operated by Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA).
APRIL 2, 2026: Jetstar’s first refurbished B787-8 has returned to Australia. VH-VKK (msn 36237) ferried from Hong Kong (HKG) to Melbourne (MEL) over April 1 and 2. The aircraft is the first of eleven Jetstar B787-8s to undergo a cabin refurbishment.

March 2026
MARCH 30, 2026: Mineral Resources owned specialist fly-in-fly-out carrier, MinRes Air, is ferrying in another A320-200. The aircraft, JA05MC (msn 4555) is currently at Jakarta (CGK) pending delivery. It will enter into the Australian aircraft register as VH-8CU.
MARCH 27, 2026: Jetstar is returning an A320-200 to its lessor (Aircastle) this week. VH-YXW (msn 5796) was withdrawn from service earlier in January and parked at Alice Springs (ASP). It is due to depart Australia on March 27.
MARCH 25, 2026: The Qantas Group is ferrying in another former WestJet Encore DHC-8-Q400. The aircraft, C-FQWE (msn 4473) departed Sault Ste. Marie (YAM) on March 22, 2026. and is expected in Brisbane (BNE) on March 26. It will be re-registered as VH-8AJ.
MARCH 10, 2026: The final ex-Qantas Group DHC-8-Q300 acquired by Avmax has left Australia. VH-TQE (msn 596) departed Alice Springs (ASP) on March 7, flying to Calgary (YYC) via Cairns (CNS), Majuro (MAJ), and Kapolei (JRF).
MARCH 2, 2026: Abelo has delivered an ATR72-500, VH-FVX (msn 762), to Air Navigator Group’s Australian subsidiary, Aerlink, to support their fly-in-fly-out operations. The aircraft ferried from Toulouse (QYF) to Perth (PER) between February 20 – 27, 2026.

February 2026
FEBRUARY 26, 2026: Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) has retired an A320-200. The aircraft, VH-VNJ (msn 2982), left Perth (PER) on February 24 bound for the US, where it will be parted-out and scrapped.
FEBRUARY 25, 2026: Virgin Australia is preparing to ferry in its next B737-8 and its first new aircraft this year. VH-8VG (msn 67037), has positioned into Melbourne (MLB) ahead of starting its ferry flight to Australia on March 1 and entering revenue service on March 7.
FEBRUARY 23, 2026: Another ex Qantas Group DHC-8-Q300 acquired by Avmax has ferried out of Australia, en-route to Canada. VH-TQL (msn 603) departed Alice Springs (ASP) on February 18, flying to X via Cairns (CNS), Majuro (MAJ) Kapolei (JRF), and Portland (PDX). Only a single Q300 acquired by Avmax remains in Australia.
FEBRUARY 17, 2026: Another ex Qantas Group DHC-8-Q300 has ferried out of Australia, bound for Canada via Europe. VH-SBB (msn 539) left Alice Springs (ASP) on February 12 and, at the time of publication, is at Sharm el-Sheikh (SSH). The aircraft was operated by Qantas subsidiary Eastern Australia Airlines in QantasLink livery.
FEBRUARY 16, 2026: Qantas Group subsidiary Network Aviation has donated a F100 to the HARS Aviation Museum at Parkes Airport (PKE). The now-retired aircraft, VH-NHO (msn 11312) ferried from Perth (PER) to Parkes on February 10, 2026.
FEBRUARY 11, 2026: Canada's Avmax Group has ferried another ex-Qantas Group DHC-8-Q300 to Canada. VH SBW (msn 599) flew from Alice Springs (ASP) to Calgary (YYC) via Cairns (CNS), Majuro (MAJ) and Kapolei (JRF) over February 8 - 9.
FEBRUARY 9, 2026: Jetstar Airways has retired an A320-200, VH-YXV (msn 5598). The aircraft was withdrawn from service in early January 2026, ferrying to Singapore Seletar (XSP). It recently continued onto Toulouse (QYF) via Muscat (MCT) and Cairo (CAI). The A320 will be taken up by Jetstar Japan and re-registered as JA11JJ.
FEBRUARY 9, 2025: PNG Air is mid way through ferrying another mid-life ATR72-600 to Papua New Guinea. The aircraft, P2-ATY (msn 1047) departed Toulouse (QYF) on February 6 and, at the time of publication, is at Bahrain (BAH). PNG Air is inducting several ATRs this year.
FEBRUARY 9, 2026: Qantas has taken delivery of another ex-Singapore Airlines B737-800. The aircraft, VH-XZT (msn 44230), formerly 9V-MGN, ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) via Darwin (DRW) on February 5. In June 2025, Qantas announced it would lease four mid-life B737-800s to help counter delivery delays of new aircraft.
FEBRUARY 2, 2026: The Qantas Group has ferried out another DHC-8-Q300 following its retirement of the type last year. VH-SBI (msn 605) departed Alice Springs (ASP) on January 29, 2026, and at the time of publication, is at Muscat (MCT). The QantasLink branded aircraft was operated by Qantas Group subsidiary Eastern Australia Airlines.

January 2026
JANUARY 27,2026: National Jet Express is due to ferry in its thirteenth DHC-8-Q400. The ex-Croatia Airlines aircraft, 9A-CQA (msn 4205), remains at Zagreb (ZAG) at the time of publication but will be entered into the Australian register as VH-8QE.
JANUARY 26, 2026: Canada's Avmax Group has ferried another ex-Qantas Group DHC-8-Q300 to Canada. VH-SBT (msn 580) flew from Alice Springs (ASP) to Calgary (YYC) via Cairns (CNS), Majuro (MAJ) and Kapolei (JRF) over January 15 – 22. Qantas subsidiary Eastern Australia Airlines had operated the aircraft for QantasLink since 2002.
JANUARY 23, 2026: Air Vanuatu's newest DHC-6-300 Twin Otter, N708GH (msn 481), ferried to Port Vila (VLI) this week, will be entered into the local aircraft register as YJ-015.
JANUARY 21, 2026: Nauru Airlines has leased a B737-800F, VH-8TG (msn 33003), to India’s AFCOM Holdings for six-years. The lease coincides with the two parties recently signing a strategic partnership agreement, also for a six-year term.
JANUARY 21,2026: National Jet Express has acquired its twelfth DHC-8-400. C-FPQD (msn 4211) was added to the Australian aircraft register late last week, becoming VH-8QD. It will be based at Brisbane (BNE).
JANUARY 19, 2026: Nexus Airlines is ferrying in its sixth DHC-8-400. The aircraft, C-FKCR (msn 4455), is an 11.5 year-old refurbished frame leased from TrueNoord and will be entered into the Australian register as VH-8XD. At the time of publication, the Dash-8 is still in Canada but is expected to begin flying towards Australia within days.
JANUARY 19, 2026: The Tasmanian Division of the Royal Flying Doctor Service has acquired a Beechcraft King Air B350 registered as VH-MQD (msn FM-75) to support a ten-year aeromedical contract.
JANUARY 12, 2026: Qantas is ferrying in another ex-WestJet Encore DHC-8-Q400. The aircraft, C-FUWE (msn 4477) is today en-route from Honolulu (HNL) to Majuro (MAJ) on its way to Brisbane (BNE). The turboprop will go into the Australia aircraft register as VH-8AL and be operated by Sunstate Airlines as a QantasLink aircraft.
JANUARY 9, 2026: Jetstar is presently ferrying in its twenty-third A321-200NX. The aircraft, VH-OLQ (msn 12956) departed Hamburg (XFW) for Muscat (MCT) on January 8 and is due to land in Melbourne on January 10.
JANUARY 7, 2026: Virgin Australia will return B737-800 VH-VUG (msn 34438) to lessor Deucalion Aviation, with January 7, 2026, being the aircraft’s last day of scheduled flying for Virgin Australia.
JANUARY 5, 2025: Skytraders has disposed of a 22-year-old A319-100. The aircraft, VH-VCJ (msn 01880), ferried from Melbourne (MEL) to Honolulu (HNL) via Nadi (NAN) before Christmas. The aircraft will be parted out.
JANUARY 5, 2025: Fiji Airways is ferrying in its sixth ATR72 600. The aircraft, DQ-FJD (msn 1743), is en-route to Nadi (NAN) from Toulouse (TLS), and, at the time of publication, is at Al Ain (AAN). The ATR will operate domestic flights under the Fiji Link brand.

December 2025
DECEMBER 19, 2025: GA Telesis has placed a 737-800SF, ZK-AWK (msn 27988) on lease to Airwork New Zealand through the LIFT (Leasing, Investments, Finance and Trading) Division.
DECEMBER 18, 2025: Virgin Australia is ferrying in its second E190-E2. The aircraft, PR-EOM (msn 190.200203) has positioned into Bridgetown (BGI), Barbados, from the Embraer factory at São José dos Campos (SGI), Brazil. PR-EOM will be re-registered as VH-E2B after its arrival in Australia on December 21.
DECEMBER 17, 2025: Alliance Airlines is expected to ferry another former JetBlue E190AR to Brisbane over the coming days. At the time of publication, N184JB (msn 19000008) is still in the US but is due to fly to Australia via Kona (KOA) and Majuro (MAJ). It will go into the Australian register as VH-A2N.
DECEMBER 17, 2025: Air Niugini is ferrying in its third A220-300. The aircraft, P2-PGC (msn 55410) flew from Honolulu (HNL) to Nadi (NAN) on December 15, bound for Port Moresby.
DECEMBER 17, 2025: Qantas is presently ferrying in its tenth A220-300. VH-X4J (msn 55409) is enroute from Honolulu (HNL) to Nadi (NAN) on Wednesday, December 17, and is expected to arrive in Canberra (CBR) on December 18. The jet will be operated by Qantas-subsidiary National Jet Systems under the QantasLink brand.
DECEMBER 10, 2025: The QantasLink DHC-8-Q300 exodus continues with Canada's Avmax Group ferrying out another. VH-TQD (msn 598) left Alice Springs (ASP) for Calgary (YYC) on December 2, 2025, and at publication time, is at Honolulu (HNL). Eastern Australia had operated the aircraft for QantasLink.
DECEMBER 9, 2025: Canada's Avmax Group has ferried out another ex Eastern Australia Airlines DHC-8-Q300. VH-SBG (msn 555) departed Alice Springs (ASP) for Calgary (YYC) on November 30, 2025. Eastern Australia had operated the aircraft for QantasLink.
DECEMBER 8, 2025: Air Niugini has positioned its second A220-300 to Vancouver (YVR) ahead of its ferry flight to Port Moresby. The aircraft, P2-PGB (msn 55406), arrived at the airport on December 5, 2025, having flown across from Montreal (YMX).
DECEMBER 8, 2025: Qantas has ferried in its third A321-200XLR. The aircraft, VH-OGC (msn 125940), flew from Hamburg (XFW) to Brisbane (BNE) via Bangkok (BKK) over December 4 - 5, 2025.
DECEMBER 8, 2025: Jetstar has ferried in its twenty-second A321-200NX. The jet, VH-OYX (msn 12611), operated from Hamburg (XFW) to Melbourne (MEL) via Muscat (MCT) and Kuala Lumpur over December 3 - 5, 2025.
DECEMBER 1, 2025: Qantas A380-800, VH-OQC (msn 022) has commenced its ferry flight from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Sydney (SYD), having flown to Los Angeles (LAX) on November 29.

November 2025
NOVEMBER 28, 2025: Qantas ferried a mid-life ex-Singapore Airlines B737-800 from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on November 26, 2025. The aircraft, 9V-MGM (msn 44229), will be re-registered as VH-XZS.
NOVEMBER 25, 2025: SmartLynx Australia has disposed of a DHC-8-200, registration VH-TQS (msn 418). The aircraft ferried out from Australia on November 21, 2025, enroute to an African operator.
NOVEMBER 24, 2025: PNG Air is presently ferrying in another ATR as part of its fleet renewal programme. The aircraft, an ATR72-600 registered as P2-ATW (msn 1460), landed in Jakarta (CGK) from Ho Chi Minh (SGN) on November 23.
NOVEMBER 21, 2025: Aero South Pacific has identified another incoming PNG Air ATR. The aircraft, an ATR72-500, P2-ATV (msn 1152), is currently enroute to Papua New Guinea, having departed Toulouse (QYF) on November 19, 2025.
NOVEMBER 20, 2025: Aero South Pacific has identified PNG Air's first ATR42-500 as msn 1047. The 13-year-old aircraft remains at Toulouse (QYF) and is undergoing pre-delivery checks. Its current registration is M-BCOL.
NOVEMBER 18, 2025: Canada's Avmax Group have ferried out another ex-Eastern Australia Airlines DHC-8-Q300. VH-SBV (msn 595) departed Alice Springs (ASP) for Calgary (YYC) on November 13, 2025. Eastern Australia had operated the aircraft for QantasLink.
NOVEMBER 14, 2025: Qantas is expected to ferry its ninth A220-300 to Australia next week. C-FOVP (msn 55402) is due to depart Mirabel Airport (YMX) on November 16, 2025, and arrive in Australia later in the week. The aircraft will be re-registered as VH-X4I.
NOVEMBER 11, 2025: Social media platforms have published photos of the next two A220-300s going to Air Niugini, now in the final stages of production at Airbus’s Mirabel facility. They are P2-PGB and P2-PGC (msn 55410). Both are expected in Port Moresby by the end of the year.
NOVEMBER 10, 2025: Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) Papua New Guinea has added another Cessna 208 Caravan to its fleet. N201KM (msn 20800717) took eight days to ferry from Teuge (QHT) to MAF's maintenance facility at Mareeba (MRG) in Australia, arriving on October 28, 2025. N201KM will be -re-registered and replace an older MAF aircraft.
NOVEMBER 4, 2025: Canada's Avmax Group have ferried out another ex-Eastern Australia Airlines DHC-8-Q300. VH-TQM (msn 604) departed Alice Springs (ASP) for Calgary (YYC) on October 27, 2025. Eastern Australia had operated the aircraft for QantasLink.

OCTOBER 2025
OCTOBER 28, 2025: Qantas has ferried in an A330-300 dry leased from Finnair. The aircraft, VH-QPK (msn 1067), was recently repainted in Qantas colours and flew from Helsinki (HEL) to Brisbane (BNE) over October 26/27.
OCTOBER 27, 2025: Qantas is ferrying in its eighth A220-300. VH-X4H (msn 555) is en-route to Canberra (CBR) at the time of publication, having departed Montreal (YMX) on October 22. The aircraft will be operated by National Jet Express and wears QantasLink livery.
OCTOBER 27, 2025: Qantas is also ferrying in another DHC-8-Q400. VH-84O (msn 55391) arrived in Brisbane (BNE) on October 25, having flown from Sault Ste. Marie (YAM) and operating via Victoria (YYJ), Honolulu (HNL), and Majuro (MAJ). The Qantas Group’s thirty-ninth Q400 will be operated by Sunstate Airlines and wears QantasLink livery.
OCTOBER 27, 2025: Avmax Group have ferried a former DHC-8-Q300 to Canada. The aircraft, VH-TQZ (msn 555), operated by Eastern Australia Airlines for QantasLink, left Alice Springs (ASP) on October 18 bound for Calgary (YYC), operating via Cairns (CNS), Majuro (MAJ), Hilo (ITO), and Van Nuys (VNY).
OCTOBER 23, 2025: Virgin Australia Regional Airlines has exited another A320-200 from its fleet. VH-VNF (msn 3332) is presently ferrying to the United States, having flown out of the Gold Coast (OOL) on October 14, 2025.
OCTOBER 23, 2025: Alliance Airlines has taken delivery of another ex-JetBlue Embraer ERJ190. The aircraft, N247JB (msn 19000042), ferried from Oakland (OAK) via Kailua-Kona (KOA) and Majuro (MAJ), arriving in Brisbane (BNE) on October 21. It then went to Alliance's maintenance facility at Rockhampton (ROK). The jet will be re-registered as VH-A2L.
OCTOBER 20, 2025: Jetstar continues to ferry former Jetstar Asia A320-200s to Australia. The latest aircraft, 9V-JSJ (msn 4515) ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on October 16, 2025. It will be re-registered as VH-X3A.
OCTOBER 17, 2025: Jetstar has ferried another former Jetstar Asia A320-200 to Australia. The aircraft, 9V-JSY (msn 4931) ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on October 13, 2025. It will enter into the Australian aircraft register as VH-X3R.
OCTOBER 17, 2025: Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) has ferried out an A320-200, VH-VNF (msn 3332), for part out and scraping. The aircraft left Perth (PER) for Coolidge (PO8) on October 14, 2025. It had operated for VARA since 2019.
OCTOBER 16, 2025: PNG Air has begun ferrying its seventh ATR72-600 to Port Moresby (POM). The aircraft, M-ABRK (msn 1149) is leased from ACIA Aero Leasing and left Toulouse (QYF) on October 14. It will be re-registered as P2-ATX.
OCTOBER 15, 2025: Jetstar has ferried another former Jetstar Asia A320-200 to Australia. The aircraft, 9V-JSL (msn 4786) ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on October 9, 2025, and will be re-registered as VH-X3C.
OCTOBER 13, 2025: Virgin Australian Regional Airlines has exited a Fokker 100. VH-FNU (msn 11373) ferried from Brisbane (BNE) to Woensdrecht (WOE) on October 7. Alliance Airlines has acquired the plane from lessor AVAP and will use it for spare parts.
OCTOBER 9, 2025: A Finnair A330-300 registered as OH-LTU (msn 1173) ferried into Brisbane (BNE) from Singapore (SIN) on October 8. The aircraft, now painted in Qantas livery, will work for that airline along with a second A330 also dry leased from Finnair. OH-LTU will be re-registered as VH-QPL.
OCTOBER 9, 2025: Qantas has ferried the second of four mid-life B737-800s from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP). The former Singapore Airlines jet, 9V-MGL (msn 44228) flew in on October 7 and will be re-registered as VH-ZXR.
OCTOBER 7, 2025: Jetstar has returned an A320-200 to its lessor. VH-YXU (msn 5281) ferried from Singapore Seletar (XSP) to Toulouse-Francazal (LFBF) on October 5, 2025. The 13 year-old aircraft was leased from Avolon.
OCTOBER 7, 2025: Jetstar has ferried another former Jetstar Asia A320-200 to Australia. The aircraft, 9V-JSI (msn 4443) ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on October 6, 2025.
OCTOBER 6, 2025: Jetstar has ferried another former Jetstar Asia A320-200 to Australia. The aircraft, 9V-JSQ (msn 5390) ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on September 30, 2025, and will be re-registered as VH-X3H.
OCTOBER 6, 2025: MinRes Air Flight Operations is due to ferry in an A320-200 today. The aircraft, VH-8LI (msn 3939) is leased from Avolon and is scheduled to operate from Singapore Seletar (XSP) to Perth (PER). It is the first A320 dry leased by the miner.
OCTOBER 6, 2025: Virgin Australia has ferried another B737-8 to Brisbane. The airline's 14th MAX 8, VH-8VC (msn 67036) arrived in the Queensland capital on October 1 from Melbourne (MLB) via Ontario (ONT) and Kailua-Kona (KOA).

SEPTEMBER 2025
SEPTEMBER 29, 2025: Jetstar has ferried another former Jetstar Asia A320-200 to Australia. The aircraft, 9V-JSR (msn 5433) ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on September 25, 2025, and will be re-registered as VH-X3J.
SEPTEMBER 26, 2025: PNG Air is expecting to take delivery of another ATR72-600 from ACIA Aero Leasing. The 13 year-old aircraft, M-BCOL (msn 1047) has been repainted into PNG Air colours. Its last known location was Ben Slimane Airport (GMD).
SEPTEMBER 25, 2025: Jetstar has ferried another former Jetstar Asia A320-200 to Australia. The aircraft, 9V-JSK (msn 4772) ferried from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP) on September 18, 2025, and will be re-registered as VH-X3B.
SEPTEMBER 24, 2025: Virgin Australia is retiring a B737-800, VH-VUJ (msn 34443). The 19 year old aircraft is due to ferry out from Australia on September 27, 2025. The aircraft last operated a revenue service on September 21.
SEPTEMBER 22, 2025: Jetstar has taken delivery of its twenty-first A321-200NX. The aircraft, VH-OIR (msn 12683) ferried in to Melbourne (MEL) from Hamburg (XFW) via Muscat (MCT) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL) on September 19.
SEPTEMBER 15, 2025: Air Niugini's first A220-300 is due to land in Port Moresby (POM) this morning after ferrying from Montreal (YMX) via Vancouver (YVR), Honolulu (HNL), and Nadi (NAN).
SEPTEMBER 11, 2025: Virgin Australia has ferried another B737-8 to Brisbane. The airline's 13th MAX 8, VH-8VB (msn 67035) arrived in the Queensland capital on September 11 from Melbourne (MLB) via Ontario (ONT) and Kailua-Kona (KOA).
SEPTEMBER 9, 2025: A DHC-8-Q300, VH-SBJ (msn 578) formerly with Sunstate Airlines/QantasLink has ferried to Calgary (YYC). It is one of multiple QantasLink Dash-8 aircraft acquired by Canadian lessor Avmax Group.
SEPTEMBER 4, 2025: Qantas has ferried in another ex-WestJet/Encore DHC-8-Q400. The aircraft, C-GWEG (msn 4488) flew into Brisbane (BNE) from Sault Ste Marie (YAM) on September 2. It will be entered into the Australian register as VH-84P.
SEPTEMBER 4, 2025: Virgin Australia has commenced the marathon ferry flight of its first E195-E2 from Sao Jose dos Campos (SJK) to Perth (PER). The aircraft, VH-E2A (msn 19020185) departed Brazil on September 3.
SEPTEMBER 3, 2025: Air New Zealand has taken delivery of another ATR72-600, ZK-MZH (msn 1721). The aircraft ferried from Toulouse (TLS) to Heraklion (HER) on September 1, 2025.
AUGUST 2025
AUGUST 29, 2025: Virgin Australia ferried its twelfth B737-8 to Brisbane (BNE) on August 26. The aircraft, VH-8VA (msn 67034) flew from Melbourne (MLB) via Ontario (ONT) and Kailua-Kona (KOA). It is Virgin Australia's fourth MAX delivery this month.

AUGUST 25, 2025: Virgin Australia ferried its eleventh B737-8 to Brisbane (BNE) on August 20. The aircraft, VH-8IK (msn 65116) flew from Melbourne (MLB) via Ontario (ONT) and Kailua-Kona (KOA). It is Virgin Australia's third MAX delivery this month.
AUGUST 25, 2025: ASL Airlines Australia is ferrying its second B737-800(BCF) to Brisbane (BNE) today. 2-BTPO (msn 28595), is enroute from Teesside (MME) via Hurghada (HRG), Muscat (MCT), Chennai (MAA) and Lombok (LOP). It will be re-registered as VH-RAN.
AUGUST 25, 2025: Qantas has ferried in its second A321-200XLR to Brisbane (BNE). The aircraft, VH-OGB (msn 12427) arrived in the Queensland capital on August 24, 2025, having flown in from Hamburg (XFW) via Bangkok (BKK).
AUGUST 18, 2025: Alliance Airlines has ferried in another ERJ-190AR. The ex-JetBlue aircraft, N274JB (msn 19000082) arrived in Brisbane (BNE) on August 16 and has since moved onto Alliance's maintenance facility at Rockhampton (ROK). It will be re-registered as VH-A2S.
AUGUST 18, 2025: Jetstar has ferried a former A320-200, 9V-JSO (msn 05305), from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP), following the closure of Jetstar Asia last month. The aircraft will be re-registered as VH-X3F and re-deployed onto Australian domestic routes.
AUGUST 13, 2025: Jetstar has ferried a former A320-200, 9V-JSU (msn 05708), from Singapore (SIN) to Alice Springs (ASP), following the closure of Jetstar Asia last month. The aircraft will be re-registered as VH-X3L and re-deployed onto Australian domestic routes.
AUGUST 7, 2025: Virgin Australia has taken delivery of a Boeing 787-8. The aircraft, VH-8IJ (msn 65126), ferried into Brisbane (BNE) from Seattle (BFI) via Kailua-Kona (KOA) on August 7, 2025. It is Virgin Australia’s tenth B737-8 and second delivery this month.

AUGUST 3, 2025: Air New Zealand has taken delivery of an Airbus A321-200NX. The aircraft, which is registered as ZK-NNI (msn 12593), ferried into Auckland (AKL) from Hamburg (XFW) on August 3, 2025. Air New Zealand now has fourteen NXs in its fleet.
