Jetstar to Start Gold Coast – Denpasar Flights

Jetstar will begin three times-per-week flights between the Gold Coast (OOL) and Denpasar (DPS) on August 1, 2025. The low-cost carrier will use a 188-passenger all-economy class  A320-200neo to operate the flights.

Preliminary timetables published by Jetstar show JQ93 departing the Gold Coast at 18:15 every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from the start of August. The flight will arrive in Denpasar at 22:35.

The return flight, JQ94, will leave Denpasar at 23:45 every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday and fly through the night, landing at the Gold Coast at 07:15 the following morning.

The route is already served by Virgin Australia – one of the very few routes they enjoy sole operator status on.

This route will be Jetstar’s eighth Australia – Denpasar route, with the airline already flying in from Perth (PER), Darwin (DRW), Adelaide (ADL), Melbourne (MEL), Sydney (SYD), Brisbane (BNE), and Cairns (CNS). Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully says Bali remains the top destination for Jetstar customers.

Denpasar becomes Jetstar’s seventh international route out of the Gold Coast. It already flies to Auckland (AKL), Hamilton (HLZ) (starts in June), Wellington (WLG), Christchurch (CHC), Dunedin (DUD) (starts in June), and Queenstown (ZQN).

The airline also flies to Newcastle (NTL), Sydney (SYD), Canberra (CBR), Melbourne (MEL), Hobart (HBA), Adelaide (ADL), Perth (PER), Darwin (DRW), and Cairns (CNS) from the Gold Coast.
