Hawaiian Airlines has confirmed it will return to New Zealand later this year and operate a 2025-2026 seasonal service to Hawaiʻi.
After ending the current 2024/25 seasonal service as planned on April 30, 2025, the airline will resume flights on November 18, 2025, with thrice-weekly nonstop flights from Auckland (AKL) to Honolulu (HNL).
After the winter break, Hawaiian Airlines will restart its HA8445 service on November 16, departing Honolulu at 13.05 and arriving in Auckland at 21:20 the following day. The return flight, HA8446, will push back from Auckland at 23:30 on November 18, arriving in Honolulu at 09:15 the same day.
After bedding down, the flights will depart Honolulu every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while Auckland will see departures on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Hawaiian Airlines will service the route with an Airbus 330-200 seating 278 passengers across two cabin classes.
In addition to its seasonal New Zealand flights, Hawaiian Airlines' Southwest Pacific network includes year-round services to Sydney (SYD), Pago Pago (PPG), Rarotonga (RAR), and Papeete (PPT).
